James Wharton is an American author of historical fiction, humorous, and supernatural novels and an Adjunct Professor of Economics and Marketing. At age 14 he left home to work for three years as a page boy in the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. He spent four years in the military, one in the Viet Nam War. His interest in history is a result of his family background, experience in Washington, D.C. and the military.
