Carmen Teresa Whalen is Professor of History and Latina/o Studies at Williams College, where she has also served as the Chair of the Latina/o Studies program and as the Associate Dean for Institutional Diversity. She teaches courses on comparative Latina/o history, im/migration, and Latinas in the global economy. She received her B.A. from Hampshire College and her M.A. and Ph.D. from Rutgers University, New Brunswick.
