Wethington, Elaine

Elaine Wethington, PhD, is Associate Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies for the Department of Human Development at Cornell University and is Co-Director of the Cornell Institute for Translational Research on Aging. Dr. Wethington is a medical sociologist, specializing in the study of stressors and mental health. She received her PhD from the University of Michigan. She is the co-principal investigator and pilot studies director for the Cornell Institute for Translational Research on Aging (CITRA). CITRA fosters the development of community-based research on aging in New York City
