Westeren, D. Findlay

D. Findlay Westeren grew up in New England. He obtained his M.A.T. from Rhode Island College in English and taught humanities and writing at the secondary level in the inner city. Subsequently, he has worked as an insurance underwriter and business analyst for an IT application software firm. Since the Seventies he has lived in the American South. A preoccupation with collective memory, comparative religions and Celtic and Native American mysticism led to the formation of Somewhere in the Heart of Time. Mr. Westeren lives in Columbia, South Carolina, a major setting for this novel.
