<B>John Weirs</B> nonfiction pieces have appeared in <I>Details, Rolling Stone, Spin, New York, The Advocate, The Village Voice</I>, and <I>The New York Times</I>, as well as published in anthologies including <I>The Columbia Reader in Lesbian and Gay Studies, Taking Liberties</I>, and <I>Beyond Queer</I>, among others. Weir is an associate professor in the English department at Queens College.
