Larry Webb, a close friend of Bill Lentsch, has transcribed many hours of dictated tapes relating to Bill's life; his dysfunctional family life as a child; his survival at Guadalcanal; his rehab; and his personal battles as a wounded warrior. However, it was never published. With Bill over 90, Larry, an ex-GI and retired minister, has accepted the challenge to re-write the story to focus on the element of Hope as demonstrated by his life.
