Kent Weatherby is a former assistant US attorney, assistant attorney general to a United Nations trusteeship, and investigating officer in an army war crimes team. He also practiced corporate law in China, retiring in the late 1990s. As a former prosecutor and army officer, he is very interested in the current war against terror. Drawing from his expertise in international and war crimes, he wrote Shock Aftershock as reminder to the American public that a terrorist attack can happen at any place, at any time-and that we must be wary, but not afraid.
