DeWayne Watts currently resides in Tennessee with his wife of 25+ years. He fathered three children, the first of which passed away. His two sons have matured into two responsible men in their respective communities. He started writing at an early age, and in 1984 and 1985 had poems published in a literary magazine. At the age of 14 he did a walk-on role in the movie 'Rumble Fish' and during that same summer spent many hours on set watching Francis Ford Copula direct, which inspired a love for movie production.
