Wardhaugh, Ronald

Ronald Wardhaugh was until recently Professor of Linguistics at the University of Toronto. His many successful books include "Understanding Grammar" (1996) and "Introduction to Sociolinguistics," Third Edition (1998), both published by Blackwell Publishers.
