Walker, MR Joe

Author Joe Walker is a native of Arkansas, growing up just a few miles north of the Jenkins' Ferry Battlefield, where his father instilled in him the rich Civil War history of the area. His first book, "Harvest of Death: The Battle of Jenkins' Ferry, Arkansas," is the first major work on the battle in fifty years. He is a member of Military Order of Stars and Bars, Sons of Confederate Veterans as well a founding member of the General James McPherson Chapter of the Sons of Union Veterans.
