Wakan, Naomi Beth

Naomi Beth Wakan has authored numerous elementary school books, books for children, and poetry collections. Wolsak and Wynn published her collection of poetry Segues (978-1-894987-01-1) in 2005. Her book Haiku Bag (1-894092-12-0) can be found in libraries across Canada. Wakan is a prolific writer and a tireless presenter of workshops on the subject of writing, and writing for the "late bloomer" in particular. She was born in London, England and now lives on Gabriola Island in British Columbia.
