Viola, James P.

James P. Viola grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where, as a youth, he familiarized himself with gambling and winning. As he grew, he gravitated towards the fast paced casino games of craps and blackjack. He built an empire in the fashion denim business and denim jeans washing industry with Viola Sportswear, Inc. He also built a reputation as a "whale" in Las Vegas and was regularly courted by many of the big casinos. To this day, his name in a casino reservation system brings out the casinos hosts and the comp offers. Throughout his life, he acquired a great deal of knowledge about these
