Vigilante, Danette

Danette Vigilante grew up in the Red Hook Projects in Brooklyn and now lives in Staten Island, New York. She is the author of Saving Baby Doe andThe Trouble with Half a Moon, which was nominated for the 2012-2013 Florida Sunshine State Young Readers Award.
