Vicente, Marta V.

Marta V. Vicente is Assistant Professor of History and Women’ s Studies at the University of Kansas. She received her BA from the University of Barcelona and her PhD from Johns Hopkins University. She has published articles on the history of women in early modern Spain, and has co-edited "Women, Texts, and Authority in the Early Modern Spanish World" (2003). She is currently working on a book project on gender and sexuality in early modern Spain.
