Nick Vellis was born in Pittsburgh, PA to Greek-American parents and grew up in South Florida. He was a police officer for more than thirty years serving as a patrol officer, investigator, crime scene analyst, public information specialist, and crime prevention officer. Following his retirement from public service, he began a career in technology sales providing data analysis software to law enforcement, the military and industry nationwide and overseas.
