Dimas Vasquez was born in Santa Barbara, California in 1980. He studied at Santa Barbara City College where he started to write most of his stories. His short novel The Puddle was published in 2010, and his first short story collection Dark Winds and Black Seas: Volume 1 was published in 2014, book one in a six-part series. His biggest influences are Clive Barker and Ray Bradbury. When he is not writing, he is listening to Pink Floyd, watching movies, and reading. He currently resides in Riverside, California with his girlfriend, two cats and their bunny Digger.
