Vanderslice, John Mitchell

John Mitchell Vanderslice (1846 1915) was a Pennsylvania lawyer, writer, and member of the Gettysburg Battlefield Memorial Association for more than sixteen years, serving for a time on its board of directors. He was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his gallant service at the Battle of Hatcher s Run, Virginia, during the Civil War.
