About the Author: I am Cindy Millet Bowles (aka Cillyart) and I have been creating picture stories and enjoying children's books, especially fairy tales, since I can remember! My mother told me that she was tempted to name me "Cinderella" when I was born because Cinderella was her favorite fairytale. Mom "chickened out" at the last minute and named me Cindy instead. Relieved to not have had to live up to the name of Cinderella, I take after my mother because it is also my favorite fairytale! My family called me silly Cindy as a young child because I loved to be silly, have fun and help others
