Turner, Shatika A.

Shatika started writing when she 12. She has Cerebral Palsy and uses a wheelchair. Growing up with a disability was a lot to endure so writing is seen as her 'getaway.' This is her first book. She is a college student majoring in Liberal Arts and Humanities with a concentration in General Studies. Maya Angelou and Lyfe Jennings are said to be some of her inspirations. With the self-publication of this book, she hopes to inspire and reach out to others that may have gone through similar experiences.
