Turner, Barbara

Barbara Formaniak Turner, PhD, is Professor Emerita of Gerontology at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She received her doctorate from the University of Chicago's Committee on Human Development in Adult Development and Aging. A fellow of the American Psychological Association and the Gerontological Society of America, her research interests and publications focus on the intersection of gender and aging, especially in personality.
