is a human geographer and member of the Centre for Urban and Regional Studies (cures) at Orebro University, Sweden. His PhD thesis "There and back again? Dutch lifestyle migrants moving to rural Sweden in the early 21st century" (2013) combines insights from population geography and rural studies. In the spring of 2014, he started working in a post-doctoral project at Umea University (Sweden), focusing on Swedish rural hotspots and local socioeconomic impacts of incoming entrepreneurs.
