Professor L. C. Triarhou chairs IBRO's History of Neuroscience Committee. He studied medicine (MD, Aristotelian University), brain research (MSc, University of Rochester) and neurobiology (PhD, Indiana University), as well as theory of music and piano at Conservatoire National de Thessalonique and the Eastman School of Music. In 1995 he was awarded the Science Prize of the Bodossakis Foundation.
