Towle, Ray

Ray Towle grew up on the Canadian prairies. Fascinated by the plight of the whooping cranes, he decided to write a children's book about conservation efforts to preserve and increase the whooping crane population. He was an economist in the oil and gas industry, a published playwright, and editor of economic journals and now currently lives in Red Hook, New York.
