Dominic Torr was a British diplomat closely involved in the Cold war. His postings were to the then divided Europe and the Far East. He is now a diplomatic consultant. During a sabbatical he was a correspondent in Vietnam during the war. As a consultant he worked on East Germany just before the fall of the Berlin wall and then for the Bosnian government during the siege of Sarajevo.
