Keyan Tomaselli is Professor and Chair of Culture, Communication and Media Studies at the University of Kwazulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa. He is author of numerous papers and books on African cultural and media studies, including The Cinema of Apartheid (1988, Smyrna Press, NY) and Appropriating Images (1996, Smyrna Press, NY).
