Marion Timmons, being a Loyalist descendant herself, became interested in the history of the American Revolution some years ago, and that led to the writing of her first book "Wilderness Home", the story of the founding of Country Harbour, Nova Scotia, by Loyalists. Her love of history is evident in her writing. After years of living in various parts of Canada and the United States, she returned to Country Harbour, where she writes, paints, and enjoys her gardening.
