The author Ursula Tillmann was born and raised in Germany. She immigrated as a teenager to Canada and studied journalism in Calgary, Alberta. For more than twenty years Ursula worked for Canadian and European newspaper and magazines focusing on politics, history, investigative journalism and human interest stories. After the Fall of the Berlin Wall in Germany, she reported extensively about changes in Eastern Europe. Ursula is the recipient of several photography, news-writing and poetry awards.
