Award winning author, Russell Thornberry, was born with an insatiable appetite for adventure in the great outdoors. His interest led him into hunting and fishing and eventually into guiding and outfitting and a career in outdoors writing. Subsequently he has been published in most of the prominent outdoors magazines in the U.S. and Canada, which led him to becoming editor in chief of Buckmasters Magazine and their subsidiary publications, Gun Hunter and Rack magazines.
