Thoemke, Kris

Kris Thoemke has lived in Florida most of his life. He has a Ph.D. from the University of South Florida in marine biology, was the manager of the Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve near Marco Island, and is host of "Florida Outdoors" on WNOG radio. Kris also worked as host and co-producer of "Exploring Florida," a popular television series on PBS. Kris is a regular outdoor features writer for the "Naples Daily News," and his articles and photography have appeared in "Florida Sportsman, Gulf Coast Angler, Florida Wildlife," and other publications.
