J. O. Terry served over thirty years in Asia as a missionary sharing the good news stories about Jesus as Savior and Lord, especially among tribal and rural peoples of Asia. He saw the lives of those who wanted to follow Jesus, but were afraid to let go of the old way of life the people believed was needed to meet their families' daily needs or change their personal circumstances.
