George J. Tenet was the second-longest-serving Director of Central Intelligence in U.S. history, leading the CIA and Intelligence Community from 1997 to 2004. He was Deputy Director of Central Intelligence from 1995 to 1997 and prior to that Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Intelligence Programs at the National Security Council and Staff Director of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. He is the author of the number-one "New York Times" bestseller "At the Center of the Storm".
