Tchaicovsky, Melitta

Melitta Tchaicovsky is an internationally exhibited photographer, videographer and graphic designer. Born in Rio de Janeiro, she holds a BFA in Visual Communication from the School of Industrial Design (ESDI) at the State University of Rio de Janeiro. The feature-length documentary Ganga Ma: A Pilgrimage to the Source she co-produced traces the path of Hinduism s most sacred pilgrimage, following the Ganges River from its mouth in the Bay of Bengal back to its source in the Himalayas. Ganga Ma won Best Documentary at the 2002 Taos Mountain Film Festival.
