Frank Tavares has been writing his entire professional life but only began publishing fiction in the mid-2000s. Carving out time before daylight, he's written more than a dozen short stories that have been published in a variety of literary journals including Louisiana Literature, Connecticut Review, Story Quarterly, and The GW Review.
