Taube, Herman

Herman Taube (b. 1918), author of 20 books of poetry and fiction, has taught at the University of Maryland and American University, where he earned an M.A. in Literature and Creative Writing - he continues to lecture widely on Yiddish Literature and the Holocaust. A long-time columnist for The Washington Jewish Week, he lives in Maryland with his wife Susan.
