About the Author Chen-To Tai is Professor Emeritus at the University of Michigan, where he received the EKN Outstanding Faculty Award from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in 1971 and 1977; the Tau-Beta-Pi Outstanding Faculty Award from the College of Engineering in 1974; and the Distinguished Achievement Award from the University in 1975.
