The Newman Resident brings together the worlds of law, education, and family-all set in New York City. Charles Swift has had a unique blend of experiences that have combined to help him write this novel. He was a law student at Columbia Law School for a year and worked as a summer associate at a leading Manhattan law firm before deciding that law was not what he wanted to pursue as a career.
