Michael Sweig became a justice reform advocate, author, and speaker after 25 years in Chicago as a lawyer and legal studies professor. During 1997-1998, Michael voluntarily gave up his law license and turned himself into the Cook County, Illinois State's Attorney, because he had embezzled client funds in a million dollar fee dispute.
