Swanson, Tom

Tom Swanson is a retired math teacher, having taught 35 years in Michigan and Idaho. He coached cross country, wrestling and football. He says, "I was most fortunate in that I still enjoyed Monday mornings at school even up to the last day before I retired from teaching." He has been a Young Life volunteer for 30 years and he and his wife Donna have made 12 trips to the former Soviet Union to befriend, train and encourage Young Life leaders. They plan to travel again this year and in future years to continue work there with leaders and teens.
