Ryan Swanson first became interested in writing while playing hockey for the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL where he spent most of his time away from the rink limping and journaling about life on the junior hockey circuit. While pursuing degrees in English and Religion Studies at Macalester College, Ryan discovered screenwriting. For more than a decade, he has worked as a screenwriter, story editor, and script consultant alongside some of Hollywood's most acclaimed and prolific filmmakers.
