Although she daydreamed her way through high school, eventually she learned to focus in college. Intrigued with people, cultures and social trends, Kim received a bachelor's degree in social sciences from California State University San Marcos. In addition to writing novels, she also works at a public library and volunteers at a conservation nature center. Kim currently lives in the Ozarks with her family.
