Sue Sutherland-Hanson used her Masters of Teaching in a career teaching English to international and immigrant students at community college. In midlife, Sue earned her Masters of Divinity from a Quaker seminary emphasizing writing as ministry. Sue grew up in a commercial fishing family in the Pacific Northwest, where she lives with her husband and grandchildren.
