Jenna Sundell, ordained as a monk of the Rama Lineage, began offering public meditation classes in 1994 after receiving a teaching empowerment. As her body started to fail due to a combination of chronic illnesses, she became disabled and could longer work as computer consultant. This experience allowed her to focus full time on her Buddhist practice, as well as teaching and writing.
