Strong, Pauline Turner

Pauline Turner Strong is an associate professor of anthropology and gender studies at the University of Texas at Austin, where she also directs the Humanities Institute. She is the author of "Captive Selves, Captivating Others: The Politics and Poetics of Colonial American Captivity Narratives" and the coeditor of "New Perspectives on Native North America: Cultures, Histories, and Representations".
