The wife of a former submariner, Kim moved around the country a lot. With a B.F.A. from the University of Connecticut and a Master's Degree from Regent University, she used her background in Drama to stretch her creativity and stay relatively sane throughout all those moves. She's also a member of the Heart of America Christian Writer's Network and the Christian Writers Guild. In 2010 her novel "Winter Trees" was a semi-finalist in CWG's Operation First Novel Contest.
