The author and mother of one was born and raised in Saint Louis, Mo. She penned her first novel, ...Is Best Served Cold, while taking a break from preparing to take the Law School entrance exam. She holds a MBA and is currently working on the untitled sequel to her debut novel and a collection of urban short stories.
