Stein began working in the entertainment industry in 1970 as an agent in the music department of the William Morris Agency, representing such artists as Stevie Wonder and Three Dog Night. In 1974, Jack started his own personal management/production company, JNS Enterprises, Inc. and for the next twenty-five years represented such artists as Susan Anton, and Kathie Lee Gifford.
