Steen, Jette

Jette Steen is a Danish author and she was born only a few houses from where the famous storyteller H. C. Andersen lived through his childhood. She began writing social realism rather late in life, after a long carrier, due to some unpleasant experiences. She writes scripts for movies and theatre and has published several books in Denmark.
