Elisa Stavola is a seventeen-year-old high school student who has suffered from food allergies her entire life. She's very active in her high school, where she is editor of the foreign language literary magazine and captain of the varsity field hockey team. She's a member of numerous national honor societies and is involved in several volunteering programs.
