B.R. Stateham is the author of several Smitty books and the Turner Hahn/Frank Morales detective stories, as well as numerous works of science fiction and fantasy. He is a sixty-five year old madman who writes in several different genres. Growing up reading the likes of Raymond Chandler, Dashiell Hammitt and Ed McBain in the detective genre, and Edgar Rice Burroughs, Robert Heinlein, Arthur C.
