Chaunce Stanton lives in St. Paul, Minnesota. He began writing Luano's Luckiest Day after waking from a dream where he first met Luano, a boy who was riding a tiger in search of his mother. Chaunce believes our highest purpose is to nurture the individuality waiting within each of us, and Luano's Luckiest Day is filled with characters of intense individuality who bloom in the desert.
